Conical Mufflers Conical mufflers are easy to install, threading the exhaust ports of air tool, valves, cylinders and other pneumatic equipment. They offer an economical method of reducing the noise levels below 90 dBA, conforming with OSHA standards. On hose assemblies, pressure rating is the lower of either the rating of the coupling or the hose at 70 deg. F.
