  • Industrial Grade Pyrojacket® withstands repeated exposure to molten steel, molten aluminum, and molten glass up to 3000°F (1650°C).
  • Heavy coating of proprietary iron oxide red silicone rubber sheds molten metal splash immediately, minimizing heat transfer.
Withstands Intense Radiant Heat and Flame
  • Withstands continuous exposure to 500°F (260°C).
  • Handles intermittent exposure up to 2000°F (1090°C) for 15–20 minutes.
  • Resists short-term exposure up to 3000°F (1650°C) for 15–20 seconds.
  • When exposed to flame, the silicone rubber transforms into a protective SiO2 refractory crust.
  • All temperature ratings are DMT certified.
